Felix Zaska came to Ireland from Bavaria to attend School and graduated from University in Dublin. Professional background in advertising, corporate, architecture as well as travel photography in Ireland and abroad.
Current focus is on art photography – exploring and translating concepts of time, space and eternity into projects reflecting that ’ Time is an Illusion…(Albert Einstein)
On this ‘non religio’ Odyssey the body of work also reflects interests in human history, ancient civilisations, archeology and world religions. Another special interest, as a student of oceanography and sailor, is the Atlantic and the ecosystems of the oceans as key against a manmade self-inflicted apocalyptic future.
Originally working with film in medium and large format cameras – black and white films such as Tri-x in 6×9 cm format are still of interest for certain art photography projects.
This website is a selection of film and digital images, from a retrospective body of photographic work that, in my view, contributes to the conversation around time and existence. Images are available as signed limited edition prints and royalty managed stock only.
